I taught a Better than Magic puppy training session with an English Cocker Spaniel puppy last weekend. Cute little 10 week
old pups that loved the playful biting. One of those puppies that would not let
you pet him without trying to turn it into play by biting your hand, or whatever
he could get hold of. I show his owners how to teach him refusal as part of
their training and he understood immediately. Before I left we were putting our
hands to his mouth and he was turning his head to keep it from going in his
mouth. All positive, he was happily earning praise by refusing, win-win
situation all around. As I always say, like magic with no mystery “Better than
Magic”.
